The Charlton Hunt
Fine-dining and spectacular views.
The Charlton Hunt was the earliest recorded foxhunt in the country. Its fame for superb sport drew the elite of society, including the 1st Duke of Richmond who bought Goodwood as a place to stay to go hunting and entertain his friends. That heritage has inspired The Charlton Hunt, an entertaining space with far reaching views to Charlton and an a la carte menu celebrating the finest local produce.
With accents of walnut and marble, the dining room is hung with photographs by celebrated fashion photographer Uli Weber, taken on the day the Charlton Hunt was recreated for the first time in over 250 years
