Machine Gun Kelly is one of the most exciting and fastest rap artists of his generation. At a young age, Colson Baker, MGK's real name, was already releasing mixtapes that he recorded in his own small home studio. At 19, he was the first MC to win the talent contest at New York's Apollo Theatre.
MGK was discovered by Sean Combs (Puff Daddy aka. P. Diddy), who signed him in 2012. In the same year, the young artist released his debut album Lace Up, on which he collaborated with Cassie, DMX and Avenged Sevenfold. The album was a huge success and was also well received by international critics. As singles, Machine Gun Kelly coupled out Wild Boy, Invincible and Hold On (Shut Up). In 2015, the second album of the emerging rapper followed: General Admission convinced fans and critics with its musical development, a darker underlying mood and more mature storytelling.
The tattooed music talent released his third album in 2017: Bloom was accompanied by the singles Bad Things, At My Best and Trap Paris, and managed to place in the charts in numerous countries.
On March 25 2022, the new Machine Gun Kelly album mainstream sellout was released. In any case, it will be significantly rockier again with Machine Gun Kelly 2022 - the genre boundaries of his music shifts like no other.
